50 years ago today, 547,000 enemy soldiers stood on Israel's border ready to annihilate the Jewish state. Now the UN is trying to reverse Israel's miraculous victory.   In the first days of June 1967, surrounded by militarily superior enemies, Israel was given little chance to survive.   For six brutal days, Israel's sons and daughters paid the ultimate price to defend the Jewish state and liberate Jerusalem. Their sacrifice ensured Israel would endure as a homeland for the Jewish people and a beacon of freedom.   Without their bravery, we wouldn't even have an Israel to celebrate today.   Sadly, Israel's enemies have sullied the memory of these heroes. The world has relentlessly demonized Israel for the last 50 years – even as Israel established religious freedom in Jerusalem and repeatedly reached out for peace.   Today, the UN is even trying to reverse Israel's miraculous victory. A UN body recently passed a resolution denying Israel's claim to Jerusalem – the first step in a campaign to wrestle Jerusalem away from the Jewish state.   We can't leave Israel defenseless against this attack, so we've launched a campaign to defend Jerusalem. The campaign caught fire and because the need is so dire, a generous donor came forward to TRIPLE every dollar donated.   What can you spare to defend Jerusalem?     The Israel Project is fighting to bring the world over to Israel's side and stop these attacks.
