View this email in your browser Hey Baller, September is here, most people know this month as the Back to School month. For others (grown ups) it means Summer is ending and Fall is upon us. In terms of paintball in Canada, this means getting out to play paintball outdoor before the chilly weather sneaks up on us. This year, I was at the Wasaga Beach Big Game. Here is the start to finish. Friday - Packed the truck at 8am, drove to Wasaga, set up the Badlands Booth, open 6pm - 11pm, Sleep. Saturday - Wake up 7am, Tim Hortons, open til 5pm, break down, pack up, back to HQ, unload truck. Sleep. Despite the fast moving schedule, we had a great time. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us. Cant wait to do it again next year! This month, drag someone out who has missed the chance to play this summer!!- Rusty Glaze WHAT SOMEONE ONCE SAID "Learning is experience. We had a massive 50' x 50' booth that was brimming with all the latest goodies from GI Sportz, Tippmann, Planet Eclipse and Killhouse Weapon Systems. With close to 1000 paintballers attending, the field was full all day with skirmishes across the front lines. Hard fought battles and massive assaults could be seen and heard from the sidelines, with hundreds of players rushing trenches and emplacements in single charges. Overall, another great game put on by one of Canada's premier paintball fields. The Badlands VIP Experience granted a lucky player and a friend free entry, free paint, free lunch and free VForce Grill masks. Our winner and his friend were both relatively new to paintball and were ecstatic to move up from the world of renting to owning their own fog free high end VForce Grills. Even better, they even had a chance to run an exclusive mission with the Killhouse Operator, Wolf. Assaulting with a tank, these lucky two got into the heat of the action in seconds and got to experience all the best a big game has to offer! - Badlands Will BADLANDS WILL BE HERE August Events : The One - Flag Raiders Paintball, September 19th - 20th Battlefield Asylum - PRZ Paintball, September 12th THE ONE - Flag Raiders September 19th and 20th Join us at Flag Raiders Paintball on September 19th and 20th for Shoreline's second appearance in Canada! Paintballers have their own language. We will help you brush up on your Paintball Slang each month. If you have some slang you think should be added? Let us know!Remote - A coiled or braided hose that connects your air tank to your paintball gun. This allows players to wear their tank on their vest or harness and reduces the weight of their paintball gun.Pod Thief - The lowest of the low. This player will pick up discarded pods and claim them as their own before the rightful owner has time to retrieve them from the field. Aka pod fairy, pod gnome and dirt bag. Dorito - An inflatable triangular shaped pyramid bunker. The shape is similar to a Dorito tortilla chip, hence the name dorito. In the UK they use the term "Tea Bag".
